Company History and Structure
Experience, quality and success distinguish MEGGLE which can look back on more than 100 years of company history. Founded in 1887 as a small dairy in Wasserburg near Munich, the company has become a global player and is one of the biggest and best-known producers of dairy products in Europe. The group has more than 1,611 employees worldwide in locations in Europe, Japan, North and South America, with a group turnover of approx. EUR 650 million.
In order to respond flexibly to the manyfold challenges of the markets, the MEGGLE Holding AG is divided into 3 efficient units: company headquarters, MEGGLE Wasserburg GmbH (with the pharma specialists Excipients & Technology) and MEGGLE Eastern Europe GmbH, which acts successfully in the emerging Eastern European economies.
