GranuLac® 80 is a milled alpha-lactose monohydrate garde and is composed of fine, sharp-edged lactose particles that exhibit cohesive powder properties, making them ideal for wet and dry granulation processes. During compaction, brittle fracture results in clean, unlubricated surfaces, enhancing compactability.

Benefits

  • Good compactibility
  • Narrow particle size distribution
  • Good blending properties
  • High storage stability
  • High batch-to-batch consistency

Areas of Application

  • Dry granulation
  • Wet granulation
  • Blends, premixes, sachets, triturations
  • Enhancement of flavours
  • Media for fermentation
  • Extrusion-spheronization
