GranuLac® 80
Premium milled alpha-lactose monohydrate – Ph.Eur., USP-NF, JP, ChP
Milled alpha-lactose monohydrate is widely used in wet and dry granulation, where finer particles have proven to be beneficial for solid dosage formulations. With a narrow particle size distribution (PSD), defined surface properties, and controlled density, it allows for precise modulation of compactibility, compressibility, porosity, and segregation tendency. Its brittle nature ensures good binding properties, consolidating primarily by fragmentation, making it an ideal choice for tablet production.

GranuLac® 80 is a milled alpha-lactose monohydrate garde and is composed of fine, sharp-edged lactose particles that exhibit cohesive powder properties, making them ideal for wet and dry granulation processes. During compaction, brittle fracture results in clean, unlubricated surfaces, enhancing compactability.
