Sieved Lactose
Coarse lactose is fractionated into products with a narrow particle size distribution by sieving. Sieved lactose consists of mono crystals and agglomerates. The variety of the products allows for an optimal selection for the intended application. Due to its good blending properties and excellent flowability these products are most suitable for capsule/sachet filling and powder blends. Compactibility of sieved lactoses is moderate.
Particle size distribution:
< 200 µm: ≤ 10 %
< 800 µm: ≥ 97 %
