InhaLac® 300
Premium fine milled DPI alpha-lactose monohydrate – Ph. Eur., USP-NF, JP, ChP
Fine milled DPI lactose further enhances aerodynamic performance, promoting efficient dispersion and reducing agglomeration in inhalation devices. Micronized DPI lactose, with an even smaller particle size, is particularly effective for modifying powder cohesion and achieving precise drug-carrier interactions, ensuring optimal deep lung deposition.

InhaLac® 300 contains 90 % of particles below 40 – 56 μm (Malvern). The reason to add this grade is to modulate the cohesiveness of the powder rather than to adjust the deposition of the API. Cohesiveness is particularly important during encapsulation.
