InhaLac® 300 contains 90 % of particles below 40 – 56 μm (Malvern). The reason to add this grade is to modulate the cohesiveness of the powder rather than to adjust the deposition of the API. Cohesiveness is particularly important during encapsulation.

Benefits

  • High storage stability
  • Highly controlled and homogenous powder characteristics
  • Highest microbial quality including low endotoxins

Areas of Application

  • InhaLac® 300 is a fine milled lactose suitable for use in pulmonary and nasal drug delivery.
