Premium agglomerated alpha-lactose monohydrate – Ph. Eur., USP-NF, JP, ChP

Agglomerated lactose, such as MEGGLE’s Tablettose®, offers significant advantages in pharmaceutical applications. Produced through a continuous spray agglomeration process, it combines the excellent flowability of coarse lactose with the good compactibility of fine milled lactose, making it ideal for direct compression tableting. This process results in a stable, non-hygroscopic, pure alpha-lactose monohydrate powder. Additionally, agglomerated lactose exhibits high solubility and low hygroscopicity, enhancing its stability and performance in various formulations.

Tablettose® 80 is the original agglomerated alpha-lactose monohydrate developed for direct compression. Its agglomerates range from 0 to 630 µm, providing good flowability and compactibility. This versatility makes it suitable for most low-dosage formulations, ensuring consistent tablet quality.
