InhaLac® 251
Premium sieved DPI alpha-lactose monohydrate – Ph. Eur., USP-NF, JP, ChP
MEGGLE’s InhaLac® product line is designed to meet the stringent requirements of DPI applications through controlled crystallization and precise milling or sieving. By improving flowability, handling, and dosing accuracy, lactose significantly enhances the performance and therapeutic effectiveness of pulmonary drug delivery systems.

InhaLac® 251 is the finest sieved lactose in the series, with a median particle size (x50) of ~49 µm, offering enhanced dispersion properties for inhalation applications. Its higher fines content supports optimized drug detachment.
Sieved DPI lactose provides a narrow particle size distribution and enhanced flowability, ensuring consistent dose metering and reliable API release.
